About the Event

Join us in the lavender fields with local maker, Vanessa from A Branch & Cord and learn to make your own Macramé Rainbow Wall Hanging. We are so excited to host local handcrafters and artists at our farm and if you love the thought of learning something fun and new, then this class is for you!

Description:

Come make macrame rainbows with local maker, Vanessa Deets from A Branch & Cord. In this beginner workshop, explore color, play with fiber and create your very own unique rainbow wall hanging—all while having a ton of fun! You will be introduced to a fun hand-wrapping and shaping rainbow workshop where you can create your own macrame rainbow.

Working with cotton rope, a variety of colorful yarns, and a few additional tools and supplies, you’ll be supplied with macrame cord to make a 7x7" macrame rainbow to hang on your wall to brighten any space. Learn the insider tips and tricks for a neat and secure wrap and finished assembly.

Once you master wrapping, the sky’s the limit to the shapes and objects you can make.

6 color choices are available to choose from: Jade, Sunset, Verry Berry, Neutral

Arrive a bit early and take a stroll around the lavender fields before class. Our new seasonal gift shop will be open before and after class.

Lavender lemonade served during class and a small lavender gift from our farm included with ticket.

No prior experience is needed for this workshop, just a spirit of creativity! Best suited for pre-teens and up, however, age 6 - preteen is absolutely doable with a caregiver's support.

All supplies will be provided.

Class size limited.

Comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes recommended while at our farm or walking in the lavender fields.
